Woohoo! The wait is over, and now our domain is completely working for the website. Now we can implement other important things such as linking up the dedicated towers and virtual private servers (VPS's) to the domain and soon, we will have everything off the ground here at BnD Computer Repair. Remember to like us on Facebook (there is a fanpage box on the side bar for easier access) and support us today!

Until Later,

Now entering the final steps of the launch to BnD we have come across the final obstacle, and that is getting the VM's on the windows tower. As of now the installation to Linux Debian Lenny is telling me roughly 20 minutes till it's done downloading the first vital image to installation.. out of about 16 images, while there are 52 total images. Good thing only the first few really count, Debian will update itself the rest of the way. Either way, in due time a Debian Lenny server as well as a Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat server will be installed as well. Both Virtual Machines, or VM's have been alloted with 256 mb's of dedicated RAM, each with 2GB's of burstable RAM. This provides plenty of power for what we need those servers to do.

Domain, ehhh not so well. But then again we are supposed to wait 72 hours for that kind of thing, but let's face it, No one likes waiting as much as the next guy. I'll be completely honest and explicit with you, Waiting f*cking sucks. Impatience will be the downfall of us all one day, But either way the domain should be fixed later today if not tomorrow.

Until later,

Settin' it all up.

So here we are, It's 2:30AM in the datacentre here. We started at 6PM last night and now we have the one room which had spare things overcrowding one corner completely cleared. We've got three PC's, including the iMac I am posting from setup but they are not in their permanent spots yet. So far we have one dedicated windows server sitting here with me that I will be moving and upgrading to either Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 2008 Server Edition. It all depends on whether or not I can run Virtual Machines (VMs) or not on the Server Edition of Windows. BnD has a very bright future ahead of it, Or at least plentiful computer power. I myself have still a tower and a laptop to fix that I can add to a server rack to double, maybe even triple the computing power. Pictures of the datacentre room will be up on our Facebook page, as well as on our website in our new "Photos" tab on the navigation bar. Stay tuned for more updates!
